He was taken on strength at the Canadian Base Depot for disposal on October 29th before being transferred to England and posted to the General Depot at Witley on November 1st
From mid June to the end of September 1919 he served as 1st General Staff Officer with the XIth Army Corps in Kassel
The handle is aluminum with black celluloid plates affixed on both sides
