Germany, Federal Republic. A Small Battle Unit Combat Clasp, Gold Grade, Alternative 1957 Version United Republic of but not fully legible(Frontspange fr Kleinkampfverbnde der Kriegsmarine). Reinstituted 1957. Constructed of gilded metal alloy, the obverse consisting of a swordfish lying on top of a length of richly textured rope, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 72. 5 mm (w) x 24 mm (h), in an overall extremely fine condition.
