Its name pays tribute to the noble Alighieri family, the first owners of the vineyards from which the wine originates and direct descendants of the great poet Dante. Today the wine is produced and bottled by Cantina Masi agricola, founded by the Boscaini family, which continues the Alighieri family's winemaking
